You can now filter the web notifications screen by notification type using the dropdown.
Mark All as Read
will only impact the notification type you're currently viewing.
HOALife has long supported notifications for
any
reply to a two-way email conversation. This gives full visibility but can be overwhelming for users who only want updates on conversations they’re directly involved in.A new notification setting is now available:
Conversation Reply (participating conversations only)
. You’ll only receive notifications for conversations you’ve either subscribed to or actively participated in — by starting the conversation or sending a reply.
You can also
Turn Off notifications
for a conversation you’ve participated in or Turn On notifications
for one you want to follow.
A few things to note:
- If you’re already subscribed to Conversation Reply (any conversation), you won’t receive duplicate participating notifications. You will continue to receive notifications for all replies, just like before. Turning notifications on or off for a conversation won’t have an impact either.
- If you’re not subscribed to Conversation Reply (participating conversations only)but you start or reply to a conversation, we’ll automatically enableConversation Reply (participating conversations only)viaInstant Emailnotifications for you.

HOALife now sends automatic payment past due reminder emails in an effort to help you collect on open invoices. These emails are sent starting the day after an invoice becomes past due and are resent every following 5th day until the invoice is paid or more than 20 days have passed since the invoice's due date.

This feature is currently turned off by default, and limited to our HOALife Payments customers. Turn it on by navigating to Integrations > QuickBooks Online Accounting > Setup and Manage.

Property Owners may need a gentle nudge to remind them that they have an unpaid invoice. Sending these reminders manually shouldn't be something you have to do. HOALife will now send a friendly payment due reminder email to a property on an unpaid invoice's due date with instructions to pay.

This feature is currently turned off by default, and limited to our HOALife Payments customers. Turn it on by navigating to Integrations > QuickBooks Online Accounting > Setup and Manage.

You can now collect a payment along with ARC request submissions from property owners.
HOALife will automatically create an invoice, collect payment, and mark the invoices as paid upon successful submission of the request.

Easily keep your community informed with HOALife’s new Shared Calendar! 🎉 Create events and add dashboard users and/or property owners as attendees.
Attendees can RSVP directly from their calendar or email inbox; they’ll stay updated on event changes or cancellations automatically. Be prepared by knowing how many attendees to expect without disclosing any contact information of who is invited.

With support for dashboard users or property owners, your attendees will be invited and kept up-to-date if you change or cancel the event. Options for no notification or non-RSVP notification are also supported.

As you may expect, your property owners can see all the upcoming events they've been invited to, RSVP, or see the whole calendar in the Homeowner Portal.

We're really excited about the possibilities this feature lays the groundwork for!
Some associations collect payment dues on a high frequency (monthly, quarterly). Property owners in these associations shouldn’t have to review and manually pay each invoice unless they choose to. Auto Pay allows property owners to automatically opt-in to payment of open invoices without interaction. They can add any number of payment methods to use for their property's Auto Pay Payment Method.

Once a property owner has enabled Auto Pay, they'll be presented with a list of upcoming Auto Pay Payment dates and amounts if there are any open invoices.

Since your property owners probably aren't frequenting their HOA homeowner portal, we'll send Auto Pay reminder emails so they'll always be prepared for upcoming charges. The email includes a PDF attachment of the invoice to be paid, a breakdown of the total charges, and a link to the homeowner portal to update their payment method should the need to change it.
These reminder emails will be sent about three days before the Auto Pay date. We will not Auto Pay an invoice until at least 2 days after we've sent a reminder email.

If the payment fails the property owner will receive a failure notification email prompting them to update their Auto Pay Payment Method.
