Feature Requests

Currently on the property's page, you can only sort by dates such as calendar year, within known history, etc. but it would be convenient to be able to filter to see only open violations on the dashboard like you can in the app by applying the filter.

There are instances where the pre-set User roles and permissions are not ideal for our unique situations. It would be great to be able to fine-tune these permissions for special use cases.

This step seems to create small problems for many of our members. There is a technique that is device dependent and it doesn’t really save time. Once you fill out a few applications you get a feel for it, but most members once fill one out infrequently. Why not two independent boxes where you enter start date and a second the stop dates with no connection between the two entries?

Our HOA would like to use HOALife’s Homeowner Portal as our main website. To do that, we’d need these new HOALife features: • HOA Branding - add ability to include HOA logo and accent color (to use instead of blue for links). • Menu customization - provide a means of hiding certain unused features (such as Violations and Report Asset Deficency). • Menu/Page customization - provide a way for HOAs to add their own menu items which link to our own static pages. Would be nice if the static pages could be hosted on HOALife (give us a way to paste HTML to define a page). • Menu customization - ability to re-order the menu items. • Set Home Page - ability to set default home page (instead of Violations) when homeowners login. • Custom Domain - let HOAs use their own domain name instead of portal.hoalife.com . Alternatively, we could build our own HOA website and embed specific HOALife features-- similar to the javascript provided for embedding the Document Repository into a custom website. We would need this capability for every menuitem on the Homeowner Portal. Thanks for considering this.

A way to create a report based on level of occurrence. Right now if I run a report for first occurrences, it provides me with some violations that have received subsequent violations, but I am only looking for the properties that are still on their first notice without subsequent violations for the same deficiency.

At this time, once a violation is entered, it is not possible to edit or modify the dates or any of the text as part of the violation. It would make this much user friendly to be able to do this, as it is not always possible to get the violation entered correctly with the initial attempt. The alternative is to destroy the violation and have to re-enter it all over again.

Show the Violation Status on the property home page so you don't have to click on it to see what the status of it is.

Sometimes violation suggestions are created residents, and the suggestion doesn't warrant the creation of an official violation notice. A way to show that the violation suggestion has been reviewed/closed instead of "unresolved" would be helpful.

Support closing violation remarks (introduced here: https://hoalife.canny.io/feature-requests/p/adding-notescomments-when-closing-a-violation ) in the Inspector App.

I would like to be able to lock certain tags. For instance, we have 15 association presidents and I created a tag to quickly find them using search function. However, I discovered my Inspectors have permission to click them on or off. This should be an admin privilege.
