SLV Admin have you seen Automatic Generation on Transaction Dates?

This allows you schedule a bulk invoice for generation at a future date (i.e. monthly you'd do 1 bulk invoice per month). This gives you a lot of control on the exact date you want the invoices to be generated without worrying about adhering to a rigid schedule of dates someone else defines for you.
